URBAN KAI RENTALS
Urban Kai offers daily rentals for those who wish to explore the Tampa Bay / St. Petersburg waterways on their own. Our vessels include standup paddle boards, single kayaks or double kayaks. Our 3 shop sites, located between downtown Tampa to downtown St. Pete, offer a variety of paddling experiences as each body of water holds its own unique adventure.
Gandy - Our longest standing location, of over 10 years offers the perfect paddling adventure featuring a beautiful preserve right behind our shop! Paddling in old Tampa Bay provides an
up-close look at these amazing ecosystems and seagrass beds. You can explore around spectacular mangroves, with wildlife such as manatees, dolphins, and a variety of fish, rays & birds.
Armature Works - Opened in 2019, this shop in downtown Tampa features a beautiful view of the city Skyline! Paddling on the Hillsborough's River provides an up-close look at our urban downtown scene, starting from Armature Works and paddling out towards Hillsborough Bay. You will see Tampa's spotlighted areas such as Curtis Hixon park, the Straz & Convention Centers all while paddling alongside Downtown Tampa's Riverwalk!
Salt Creek - Our newest location! Launching into Lassing Park, in the Southeast Historic district of St. Pete. The paddling area provides an up-close look at our amazing ecosystems and seagrass beds. Paddlers can explore south of the St. Pete Pier, looking over the main channel of Tampa Bay channel.

Full Day Rentals - Have an all day excursion and need a board delivered? We offer full day rentals (up to 24 hours) from where you can take equipment off-site for your fun filled trip!
*MUST provide a credit card and valid driver's license at pick-up to self-transport any equipment (and must notate on your pre-booked reservation).
We can deliver equipment (sups only - no kayaks) for a full day rental to a designated location for an additional delivery fee.
